Though I’ve never, personally been late to church – it technically doesn’t start until I get there – I have a deep love for those of my fellow faithful followers who have. The seeming weight of sharing your faith is not assuaged by simple desire. It takes knowledge and practice and comfort.

Thankfully, these are not as hard to come by as one might think. A few rules of thumb, a clever story or two and a general openness to exploring are usual all that it takes to say something meaningful and even motivational to someone you love.

“That’s easy for you to say,” right? “You’re a religious professional.”

True. I am a religious professional. But, I’m an amateur at just about everything else I do. Blogging, parenting, marriage, theology, life-in-general are all areas of continual growth for me. And so, my heart is for you, wherever you are, to walk with you as you explore your own life of faith, whatever questions or answers arise.
